**The Opportunity**

**Lounsbury Furniture** in Moncton is looking for an **Appliance and Electronics** Buyer to support our two retail stores.

This position is full-time from Monday to Friday and requires you to work on-site.

**Responsibilities**
- Work with the Sales Team, Vendors, and Director of Operations to update the core product lineup every quarter.
- Meet regularly with the Sales team to discuss promotions, product support, and lineup changes.
- Set minimum and maximum inventory levels to manage stock efficiently.
- Plan and organize monthly sales flyers.
- Manage appliance pricing by reviewing promotions, discounts, and dealer support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of products.
- Ensure price tags are updated on time.
- Coordinate product transfers between locations to maintain stock levels.
- Assist with inventory counts on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience in shipping and receiving administration is an asset, including knowledge of tariffs, fuel surcharges, and currency exchange.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently.
- A keen interest in building strategies for the appliance category.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Well-organized with a strong ability to follow through on tasks.
