Pro-Western Mechanical works across Western Canada. We provide complete mechanical services, specializing in multi-dwelling residential: condos, apartments, hotels and light industrial/commercial.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintain and update employee information, such as records of employee attendance, leave and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements, computerized systems.
- Prepare and verify statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, garnishments and insurance and pension plans
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in payroll records and transactions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed audit reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with HR Team to address payroll-related issues and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with federal and local payroll regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll-related financial reports and statements.
- Provide support during internal and external audits.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**:

- With typing speed of at least minimum 45 or more WPM.
- Previous experience in payroll & auditing.
- Proficient in Microsoft excel.
- Ability in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Excellent organization, planning and time management skills.
- Demonstrates excellent judgment within the scope of duties.
- Excels in a fast-paced environment of growth and change.
- Ability to pay attention to details and produce timely results.
- Highly motivated and self-directed, capable of multitasking, and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Accuracy is highly important.
- Strong communicator.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Knowledge of general accounting practices
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP)
