**Summary**

Shoemaker Drywall Supplies is Western Canada’s premier supplier of building materials. Our team is made up of dedicated and hardworking individuals who together create a rewarding and welcoming work environment.

Our **Surrey** location is looking for a highly motivated customer-focused individual for the position of Inside Sales - Order Desk to work and support our operations team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist customers who enter the facility.
- Manage incoming phone calls, inquiries, and orders.
- Provide project quotes, enter delivery/special orders, and assist in purchasing.
- Meet project timelines to anticipate customer needs.
- Collaborate with Shipping to ensure delivery schedules and instructions are met.
- Work with outside sales staff to stay current with project work and specialty items.
- Learn about new building and home improvement materials to increase retail sales.
- Ensure the facility is clean and stocked.
- Be an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers at all times.
- Build strong customer relationships through reliable call backs.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Customer service experience in fast paced setting required.
- Building material and home improvement product knowledge an asset.
- Effective communication skills, verbal, and written English.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Previous sales experience would be beneficial.

**Compensation**
- Salary-** $45,000 - $60,000 per year**:

- Inside sales: 1 year (preferred)
