We are in search of a detail-oriented team-player to manage our bookkeeping and purchasing. This individual will be responsible for full cycle bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, monthly financial reports and reconciliations, purchasing the materials required for each order, supply inventory, and payroll, amongst other duties.
Benefits package including dental and drug coverage is available after 3 months.
**Qualifications**
- Bookkeeping Experience 2+ years

- Post-secondary education
**Responsibilities**
- Update financial data in QuickBooks to ensure that information is always up-to-date
- Manage accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Manage accounts payable
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post and reconcile monthly bank and credit card accounts
- Prepare monthly financial reports - balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Accurately record client invoices, employee expenses and supplier invoices - ensure payments are collected and made on time
- Responsible for payroll, WSIB, benefits, and quarterly government remittances
- Prepare tax returns
- Prepare year-end procedures for the accountant
- Prepare and process purchase orders of raw materials, supplies, and services
- Manage open purchase orders and work orders
- Keep records and schedule updated as material for retail and commercial jobs arrive
- Liaising with Management on special projects
- Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations

- DCS / DEC (preferred)
