We are seeking an Asset Information Officer to join our Asset Information and Risk Management Department. Under the general direction of the Asset Information Team Lead, work towards the development and maintenance of asset information strategies, systems, and processes between the Asset Management Division and stakeholder groups. **_Responsibilities:_** - Participate in the creation and maintenance of a long-term inter-disciplinary corporate asset information strategy in - Ensuring compliance with asset information data governance, standards and quality. - Coordinating the digital creation of new assets, including digital health and performance monitoring. - Creating and delivering an asset condition and performance dashboards including asset health indices and other KPIs. - Coordinating asset information requirements between Asset Management Division and stakeholders, providing quality - assurance and adherence to asset information standards. - Supporting the development of the cross-functional asset class information standards, and other standards associated with experts/stakeholders. - Establishing and maintaining stakeholder agreements to clearly define roles and responsibilities for asset information collection to meet the needs of the Asset Management Division and outline how the information will also support operational needs to avoid data duplication and clearly outline areas of responsibility related to asset information. - Collaborating with the Asset Information Systems Team to liaise with stakeholders and internal IT specialists to ensure Asset Information user's needs, concerns, and improvement opportunities are considered and/or addressed by coordinating stakeholder requirements for asset information systems and inputs into Digital and Technology. - Developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships necessary to understand and assess long term, strategic needs of the Asset Management Division and stakeholders long-term, strategic asset information needs both inside and outside the department. - On projects of an increasing scope, negotiates and influences the scope of work, schedules and resource issues. - Ensures effective communication is occurring among all team members, customers, and stakeholders. - Utilizes and approves the use of advanced or new analytical tools and techniques in the assessment of new methodology, for the implementation of new asset information programs, practices, and procedures. **_ Qualifications:_** - A two-year Technology diploma from a college of recognized standing and five years of related experience. - An Institute of Asset Management Certificate in Asset Management would be considered an asset. - Good working knowledge of asset management principles and practices. MANITOBA HYDRO IS COMMITTED TO DIVERSITY AND EMPLOYMENT EQUITY Reference Code: CO57040126-02 - Ability to perform in a coordinating role effectively and diplomatically, often under difficult circumstances, and in a cross-disciplinary team environment. - Ability to plan, organize and control activities of various schedule-critical concurrent work assignments within the area of responsibility with a minimum of supervision. - Possess a high degree of initiative and demonstrates the ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate, direct and influence personnel. - Strong interpersonal, relationship building and trust building skills. - Good working knowledge of the corporation's asset information systems (e.g. PI, SAP, RMS, etc.) and various communication - protocols (e.g. DNP3, MODBUS, IEC 61850, etc.). - Familiarity with distribution, generation, transmission, telecommunications, and gas reliability and performance metrics. - Must obtain and maintain a current Personal Risk Assessment and a "Clear" security rating in accordance with Manitoba Hydro policy P513. **_ Salary Range_** Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $43.35-$59.82 Hourly, $83,070.78
