**Permanent full-time position and one 9-to-12 month assignment**

Reporting to the manager of Translation Services, your primary function is to translate from English to French various types of documents like specialized medical content or communication and governance-related content. As such, you will be expected to be incredibly versatile and to adapt to organizational needs.

**Here’s an insight into your typical day to day**:

- You will be responsible for translating from English to French various documents.
- Writing and revisions could also be part of your responsibilities.
- You will liaise with stakeholders to resolve potential issues regarding translation.
- You will occasionally attend virtual meetings for information purposes.

**Does this sound like you?**
- Level of education, training and experience equivalent to a degree in translation, linguistics or equivalent
- Five years or more of directly related experience
- In-depth knowledge of theory and practices of translation, revision, proofreading and terminology research
- In-depth knowledge of LogiTerm
- Excellent organizational skills, an ability to observe multiple deadlines and to work independently or as a part of a team
- Clear, concise and effective communication skills

Assets: Knowledge of medical terminology; certification in translation or willingness to obtain it; interest and experience in writing and editing.

Band 6 - Salary ranges from $69,143.00 to $86,429.00

Relevant de la gestionnaire des services de traduction, votre principale fonction consiste à traduire de l’anglais vers le français différents types de documents, comme du contenu médical spécialisé ou encore du contenu lié aux communications et à la gouvernance. Ainsi, vous devrez faire preuve d’une grande polyvalence et vous adapter aux besoins de l’organisation.

- Traduire différents documents de l’anglais vers le français
- Assurer l’utilisation uniforme de la terminologie ainsi que le respect des normes internes et des préférences des clients
- La rédaction et la révision pourraient également faire partie de vos tâches
- Collaborer avec divers intervenants afin de résoudre d’éventuels problèmes liés à la traduction.
- Assister parfois à des réunions virtuelles à des fins d’information

**Ce profil vous correspond?**
- Études, formation et expérience équivalentes à un baccalauréat en traduction, linguistique ou un domaine similaire.
- Cinq années d’expérience en lien direct avec le poste
- Connaissance approfondie de la théorie et des pratiques de la traduction, la révision, la correction d’épreuves et la terminologie
- Maîtrise de LogiTerm
- Excellentes compétences en planification, capacité de respecter les échéances et aptitude à travaill
