We are currently looking for a full-time Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team. **Job Summary**: The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee the operations and functions of the manufacturing department's dayshift to ensure on-time-delivery and customer satisfaction. The Supervisor is responsible for assigning team members to machines and jobs, ensures the schedule is followed, and assist operators with training and trouble shooting any issues. **Position Responsibilities**: - Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures. - Administer the Occupational Health and Safety Act as it pertains to supervisor responsibilities. - Continuous improvement - Work with programmers and operators to improve productivity and reduce overall costs. - Thoroughly understand and implement quality control techniques. - Fill out NCM reports for any non-conforming material and machined parts. - Answer questions on drawings, setups and processes for parts being manufactured. - Prioritize work schedules to meet delivery dates. - Participate in the training process. - Maintaining work standards. - Responsible for the team’s ability to meet goals and timelines. - Lead by example. - Other duties as assigned. **Skill and Experience Requirements**: - 2 - 3 years of Supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting. - Strong leadership, mentoring and coaching skills. - Strong interpersonal skills, team focus, and the ability to work in cross functional teams to develop collaborative relationships. - Effective decision making and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure/stress to meet tight timelines and schedules. - Effective oral and written communication skills. - Strong negotiation skills as well as conflict resolution skills. - Ability to read blueprints - Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations. **Armo has a very competitive compensation package and other perks including**: - Flex time. - Education and training support. - Annual tooling, safety shoe, and prescription safety glasses allowance. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D benefits. - Registered pension plan. - We thank you for your interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted._ **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: From $35.50 per hour **Benefits**: - Company events - Company pension - Dental care - Disability insurance - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Flexible schedule - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - Vision care Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday - Overtime Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay - Overtime pay Ability to commute/relocate: - London, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Work Location: One location
