**Job Purpose**:
The Contract Receiving Coordinator is a dual role that will work under the direction of the Receiving Lead as a receiver responsible for the daily putting and receiving duties as outlined below. Associates in this role are responsible for the accuracy, efficiency, and security of the product as it enters the Well.ca distribution centre, as well as for reporting any discrepancies, damages, or otherwise problematic occurrences with the product. In addition, providing support to the Receiving Coordinator and Returns as needed to ensure that all product requisitions, vendor and supplier paperwork, invoicing, and product integrity meet the standards of Well.ca’s rules and regulations. The position will be ultimately responsible for closing purchase orders, maintaining accurate inventory in the system, and delivering appropriate paperwork to the accounting department in a timely and organized fashion.** Please note this is a **5 month contract** position with the potential for permanent employment.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
Receiving Coordinator
- Investigate and report on invoice discrepancies, including shortages, overages, and mis-ships
- Close purchase orders in the warehouse system once reconciliations have been completed
- Coordinate with purchasing department on any and all significant reconciliation issues
- Ensure that all month-end duties are completed with 100% accuracy, including the closing of purchase orders, time stamps, and restocking cart issues
- Ensure that all paperwork is time and date stamped and signed appropriately
- Deliver paperwork to the accounting department at regular intervals throughout the day
- Make ongoing recommendations for continued process improvements
- Report on any vendor pain point issues or areas for improvement, including fill rate, UPC discrepancies, product errors, etc.
- Operating within Well.ca’s core values and upholding standard principles
- Issue debit notes to suppliers
- Create UPC labels and substitutions when necessary
- Other duties as required

Receiver
- Receive products into the Well.ca inventory management system.
- Accountable for the accuracy of the inventory count as it is entered into the system.
- Perform to the ongoing standards of Well.ca’s key metric indicators and performance metrics.
- Report any and all count discrepancies, including damages, mis-ships, or unsafe/unsanitary conditions to the Receiving Coordinator and Receiving Supervisor immediately.
- Ensure that all expiration dates fall within the Well.ca rules and restrictions guidelines and report any short-dated product to the Receiving Coordinator immediately.
- Make ongoing recommendations for supplier and department improvement to the Receiving Supervisor
- Perform regular audits and reconciliations on existing inventory.
- Assist in other shipping duties, such as picking, packing, and shipping, when required.
- Ensure that the receiving area is kept clean and safe from all debris, skids are stored safely, receiving docks are always cleared, pump trucks are stored with forks buried, and all health and safety rules are met with full compliance.
- Collaborate alongside other departments to assist with the fulfillment of consumer orders when required.
- Work interchangeably with the Inventory department to complete duties and tasks as assigned.
- Occasional operation of material handling equipment: carts, palletjack, order picker
- Other duties assigned as required.

**Qualifications**:

- 2 years of experience in a warehouse production environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to read
