**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and organize ingredients for daily meal service, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
- Assist in the cooking process by preparing sauces, dressings, and garnishes as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry area, ensuring all items are stored properly.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food is served.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to support menu execution and special requests.
- Monitor inventory levels of pantry supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques and safety standards.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures.
- Experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and meal preparation methods.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members seamlessly.
- A passion for the culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills within the kitchen.
