**Computer Aided Support Specialist**

The Computer Aided Support Specialist supports 2D /3D CAD Tools interoperability with regards to the Hexagon Smart Plant and it’s major modules including Foundation, 3D, P & ID and SDX and AtkinsRéalis integrated document management systems.

Location**:Mississauga, ON.**

**Your role within the team**:
System level activities required to support the following products: Smart Plant and it’s major modules including Foundation, 3D, P & ID and SDX. This includes items such as:

- Participate in software certification, User Acceptance Testing and delivery processes, ensure issues are communicated to developers and software vendors as needed.
- Provide user support for: Smart Plant and Plant 3D.
- Maintain Smart Plant borders - security identifiers.
- Resolve software installation issues.
- Liaise with external vendors including IT developers to investigate unusual problems with software releases/ hardware issues, or to receive assistance with hardware and peripheral malfunctions.
- Develop/Review Plant 3D Piping Specs Defined by Piping Paper Specs.
- Customize SmartPlant 3D Catalog/Piping Specs; Support 3D Modeling; Customize 3D ISO Template/Style; Support 3D ISO Generation.
- Liaise with end users to define and implement enhancements.
- Monitor disk space and system resources and communicating issues to Engineering Tools.

- Qualifications:_
- University Degree or College Diploma in a relevant field from an accredited institution and a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
