**Video Producer Role Description**
Big Red Oak is a Toronto-based creative agency that meets the marketing needs of our diverse clientele, encompassing a full range of business sectors, communication styles, and marketing and educational objectives. We work with our clients to shape their brand narrative, develop marketing and communications strategies, and create video and other content for the channels and media that matter to their audiences.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan and execute video projects from start to finish, including pre-production, shooting and post-production
- Understand a brief and collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements, objectives and audience
- Craft compelling treatments and storyboards that answer the creative strategy presented
- Accurately scope production costs and understand a budget allocation
- Capture high-quality video footage using professional equipment and techniques, ensuring excellent lighting, composition and sound quality
- Edit and assemble raw footage, adding music, graphics and motion graphics to produce compelling videos that align with the client's brand identity and marketing goals
- Ensure videos are delivered on time, meeting deadlines and client expectations for quality and style
- Manage and maintain video equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition and properly organized
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including strategists, designers, copywriters and project managers, to ensure video content aligns with overall marketing campaigns
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Videography, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as a producer, with a portfolio demonstrating a range of video projects
- Proficient in using professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro
- Extensive knowledge of videography techniques, camera equipment, lighting setups and sound recording
- Strong storytelling and creative skills to effectively communicate brand messages through video content
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality videos with precise editing and seamless transitions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and clients
- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus
- Experience in the marketing industry or working with marketing agencies is preferred
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
- A valid G driver's license and car
**Salary**: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
