**Some of what you will do**:
The Director, Pricing will play a pivotal role in shaping our pricing strategies and maximizing profitability. They will lead the development of the pricing strategy in partnership with the category and marketing teams and collaborate with operations for effective execution across retail and ecommerce channels. The Director, Pricing will serve as a thought leader and decision support function for merchandising leadership.

**Specifically, You Will**:

- Lead the pricing strategy and operations functions, building a high-performing team through mentorship and guidance. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages continuous learning and development.
- Develop a team to provide strategic pricing recommendations for all categories, ensuring alignment to roles and intents, competitive positioning, and profitability targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, merchandising, ecommerce, and operations to develop programs and initiatives that drive increased conversion, sales, and margin in store and digital channels.
- Lead initiatives around capabilities development and promote business cases for investments in tools and processes as necessary.
- Develop and implement product price strategies including Sku segment strategies.

**Some of what you need**:

- Successful completion of post-secondary education in a quantitative field or equivalent blend of education and work experience.
- Ability to translate data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
- Knowledge of pricing fundamentals and strategies in a retail environment.
- Knowledge of category management fundamentals.
- Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and ability to work with large amounts of data is an asset.
- 8- 10 years of experience in price management and/or analytics with a national retailer.
- 5+ years of experience managing people. Experience leading managers is an asset.
- Experience leading successful projects and initiatives with a track record of business impact.
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead change.
