We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our team. The Service Writer will be the primary point of contact for our customers, responsible for managing service requests, providing estimates, and ensuring smooth communication between customers and our repair team. The role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of heavy-duty truck repair processes.

**Day Shift (M-F; 7:30am to 4:00pm) and Evening Shift (M-T; 2:00pm-12:00am) Available.**

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Great customers and offer excellent customer service from intake to release of their vehicles.
- Create detailed and accurate service orders based on customer input and vehicle condition.
- Provide clear and accurate estimates for labor, parts, and additional services.
- Communicate with customers to explain service recommendations, answer questions, and provide updates on repair status.
- Coordinate with the repair team to ensure timely completion of services.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and customer communications.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Ensure that services completed for customers meet company quality standards.
- Invoice and collect payment from customers for services rendered.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in automotive or diesel repair/technology is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Service Writer, or in a similar role in a heavy-duty truck or automotive repair shop.
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems, components, and repair procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for service management.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
