IT Specialist/network Administrator

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Install, configure, and maintain software, operating systems, and antivirus protection.
- Troubleshoot and upgrade hardware components and peripherals.
- Monitor and maintain network performance, backup systems, and server operations.
- Enforce security protocols and assist with disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Liaise with vendors and support third-party system integration.
- Provide user support and orientation for technology use.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Proficient in various computer operating systems, hardware maintenance, and networking technologies.
- Strong understanding of IT security, data backup, and recovery protocols.
- Able to convey technical information to non-technical staff.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and time management.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to perform both sedentary and physically demanding tasks (e.g., lifting up to 50 lbs).
- Manual dexterity for tool use and equipment handling.
- PPE usage as per company policy.
The position is in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, you must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday
- 7:00am to 12:00pm (noon) Friday
Wages to commensurate on experience and qualifications
