Kanawemahwasowin Kamik Inc is recruiting for the position of Information Technology Manager. The IT Manager oversees the organization’s technology infrastructure and manage IT staff, implement systems, ensuring security, and aligning IT strategy with business goals. This role requires strong leadership, communication and technical skills.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Establish, implement, evaluate and modify information systems policies and procedures;
- Develop an IT budget to exceed the organization’s operational needs;
- Plan, organize, direct, control and review projects and programs;
- Communicate with IT service providers to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines;
- Tracking and monitoring daily operations, including projects in development, server hardware, software and operating systems;
- Coordinating technology installations, upgrades and maintenance;
- Selecting and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary;
- Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information system to ensure effective operation;
- Generating performance reports for operating systems;
- Assuring all IT activities performed within the parameters of applicable laws, and regulations;
- Evaluating technology risks in order to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures;
- Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices
- Maintenance of a Red Book, tracking all IT related activity, contracts, login/identification/ passwords, service/repair logs, service provider contact information and other details;
- Possess the ability to prepare narrative reports, plans and schedules, business and work plans, project and strategic plans;
- Oversee cybersecurity and compliance personnel and vendors;
- Oversee technical support;
- Filing/Access/security of IT Information;
- Transporting equipment as required;
- Must present financials to a Board of Directors
- Overseeing annual IT Budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness;
- Practice Asset Management for IT hardware, software and equipment;
- Authorize the development of specification for products or services;
- Sign off on Financial forms related to IT Budget.

**Education and Experience**:

- Post-secondary diploma or degree in information technology, computer science or related discipline from a recognized institution;
- Five (5) years experience managing IT infrastructure, servers, computer networks, network administration and installation;
- Three (3) years experience in an IT management position;
- Experience managing budgets for an IT department.
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle is essential.
- Successful completion of Criminal Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector Screening).
- Successful completion of Child Intervention Check.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
