**Location**:South Meadow; 23 Royce Avenue, Stoney Creek ON L8G 4C9
**Total Weekly Hours**: 27.75 hours/week
**Schedule**:Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 8:30am and 2:15pm to 6:00pm
**Pay Rate (per Collective Agreement, includes wage grants)**:

- RECE**:$27.94** per hour

- Who We’re Looking For_

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum **1-year experience** working directly with children or in a childcare setting.
- Diploma in **Early Childhood Education (ECE)**

**Certifications**:

- Good standing and active registration with the **College of ECE**:

- **Standard First Aid with CPR Level C**:

- **Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check**:

- Proof of **up-to-date immunizations** (TB, Tetanus, MMR)

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Familiarity with **How Does Learning Happen?** (an asset)
- Strong understanding of **child development** and age-appropriate activities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Key Responsibilities:_
- Plan and implement activities to support children’s **cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development**.

- Maintain an **engaging and welcoming environment** for children and families.
- Complete documentation and meet Ministry of Education requirements.
- Collaborate with **Hamilton Wentworth District School Board faculty**.
