**Who are we Looking For?**

We are looking for a **Supply Educator** to compliment our team

The Supply Educator will work at our various locations within the Hamilton area, assisting the child care centres as directed.

**What are we Looking For?**

**Experience**:Minimum 1-year experience working directly with children OR Related experience in a childcare setting, working with school age children (Director Approval Required)

**Education**:Diploma in Early Childhood Education OR diploma in a related field

**Certifications**
- Standard First Aid with CPR level C
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Proof of up to date immunization for TB, Tetanus and MMR
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccinations

**Skills**: Demonstrates awareness and knowledge of How Does Learning Happen is an asset

**Characteristics**
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced
- Flexible environment with mínimal supervision
- An advocate for diversity, equality, and inclusion

**What will you be doing?**

You will be responsible for the ongoing operation of a high-quality childcare centre for children ages 18 months to 12 years of age.
- Report to the day care centres as assigned to cover for the full time staff
- Establish goals, plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate experiences to enhance children’s cognitive, physical, social and emotional development in accordance with Ministry of Education’s **How Does Learning Happen**:

- Maintain a safe, warm, and caring environment in which a high-quality child care program can operate, and maintain professional relationships with Hamilton Wentworth District School Board faculty
