Simcoe, Canada Schuyler Farms Limited Full time

**Job Summary**: The Training, Safety & Documentation Facilitator supports the training, safety, and documentation function by conducting research, developing training materials, administering training programs, and ensuring effective communication and tracking. Working under the direction of the Specialist, this role assists all departments to maintain compliance, improve employee skills, and support organizational safety goals. This role requires an individual who exemplifies the company values of humble, driven, and solutions-oriented.
**Humble** - Employees that are team players and are respectful of others and the job at hand. Great team players lack excessive ego or concerns about status. Humble employees are quick to point out contributions of others and slow to seek attention of their own.
**Driven** - Employees who are motivated and focused on self improvement. Driven or hungry employees are always looking for more. More things to do, learn, and take responsibility for. They never have to be pushed by a manager to work harder because they are self-motivated and diligent.
**Solutions Oriented**- Employees who focus on solving, and preventing problems from occurring, not just identifying them. This is equal parts of problems with systems and processes and the common sense that an employee has about people. They are aware, act appropriately, ask good questions, and listen to understand.

**Role and Accountability**:

- Conduct research and develop training materials based on guidance from the Specialist.
- Prepare recommendations for training content and procedural changes for Specialist review and approval.
- Deliver approved training programs to staff effectively and consistently.
- Support the creation, updating, and communication of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in tracking training attendance, progress, and compliance across departments.
- Provide administrative support for scheduling training and maintaining training records.
- Facilitate communication of training and procedural updates across teams.
- Support health and safety documentation, helping ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and deliver targeted resources.
- Participate in safety data collection, reporting, and assist with safety investigations under Specialist direction.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve training and safety processes.
- Act as a liaison for training-related inquiries and help resolve day-to-day issues.
- Participate in cross-training initiatives to improve overall organizational efficiency.
- Act as a mentor to new employees on training procedures and documentation standards.
- Execute daily responsibilities to meet departmental goals while adhering to company values (Humble, Driven, Solutions-Oriented).
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve processes within the scope of the role.
- Attend relevant department and company-wide meetings, including Level 10 meetings, contributing to organizational alignment and effectiveness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address challenges, develop solutions, and align strategies with company goals.
- Utilize Microsoft To-Do (or similar) for task tracking and reminders, ensuring productivity and accountability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Strong research and instructional development skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and documentation.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Education, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years experience in training, documentation, or administrative support roles.
