**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, with precision and artistry.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative sushi menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of sushi ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure freshness.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques and best practices.
- Assist in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food industry.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of various sushi-making techniques.
- Experience in fine dining establishments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with dietary department practices or experience as a dietary aide is a plus.
- Ability to plan menus that cater to diverse dietary needs while maintaining flavor integrity.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
