5th Street is hiring a full time Front of House Manager.

Do you possess the confidence to effectively and simultaneously manage both a restaurant and a pub? At 5th Street, customer relations are our number one priority, and one of the core responsibilities of the Front of House Manager will be getting to know our guests and always making them feel welcome.

**Roles/Responsibilities**
- Take an active leadership role in service during operating hours.
- Maintain open communication with the kitchen staff for details as they relate to service.
- Develop product knowledge and be able to confidently present that knowledge.
- Human resources, including conducting interviews, as well as hiring and training.
- Ability to foster a professional work environment, focusing on staff development, good work recognition and incentives.
- Engage with our guests, confidently resolve any issues as they occur.
- Balance daily financials.
- Meet labour targets.

**Qualifications**
- Experience working in the industry is imperative. However, although actual restaurant management experience is preferred, it’s not a prerequisite.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, guest services, and oral/written communication skills.
- Strong computer and office administration skills.
- The ability to train effectively and execute superior guest experiences.
- A passion for food & beverage, and all things pertaining to the restaurant experience.
- An ability to build and foster relationships.
- High attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $62,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 5 years (preferred)
