Victoria based real estate group hiring a Property Manager for apartment buildings on Vancouver Island.

Do you enjoy working with team members from all walks of life to complete and supervise a variety of tasks and projects?

From a local office to different buildings in a number of cities on the Island?

Indoors and outdoors?

This position includes tasks in administration, travel for inspection of older and newer properties, supervision of on-site staff, landscaping and maintenance contractors to ensure the smooth operation of the properties, marketing apartments for rent, supervision of renovations, BC residential tenancy procedures and in commercial leasing.

Applicant must be fluent in English, have a verbal working knowledge of French, enjoy a bilingual work environment and working with people.

Desired attributes:

- Keen desire to learn about the residential and commercial real estate industry
- Prior relevant experience an asset but not essential
- Self-starter able to work independently
- Creative and effective problem solver
- Effective multitasker with project management skills
- Understanding of basic accounting reports
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Fluent in English
- Working knowledge of French

Previous experience or property management certification not required.

Must have the physical capacity to walk on a regular basis, walk stairs, climb ladders, visit interior spaces and exterior ground of large properties on a regular basis.

This is a full-time position based in our Victoria office but requires travelling to different properties in Victoria, Duncan and Nanaimo. Remuneration for car travel is provided.

Compensation and benefits to take into consideration previous professional and relevant experience.

We offer health benefits, RRSP employer contribution, a smaller office work environment with business casual work attire and an annual staff fishing charter.

Pay: $62,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
