Victoria based real estate group offering 1 year contract for Property Manager for apartment and commercial buildings located in Victoria, Duncan and Nanaimo.

Do you enjoy working with team members from all walks of life to complete and supervise a variety of tasks and projects?

From a local office and at various buildings on Vancouver Island?

In a bilingual work environment, French and English?

Indoors and outdoors?

Tasks include administration, marketing, on site inspection of properties, supervision of staff, landscaping and maintenance contractors to ensure the smooth operation of the properties, advertising apartments for rent, supervision of renovations, negotiations with contractors, BC residential tenancy procedures and in commercial leasing.

Applicant must be fluent in English, have a working knowledge of French, enjoy a bilingual work environment and working with people.

Desired attributes:

- Interest in residential and commercial real estate industry
- Prior relevant experience an asset but not essential
- Self-starter able to work independently
- Creative and effective problem solver
- Effective multitasker with project management skills
- Understanding of basic accounting reports
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Fluent in English
- Working knowledge of French

Previous experience or property management certification not required.

Must have physically capacity to walk up flights of stairs, climb ladders, visit interior spaces and exterior ground of large properties on a regular basis.

This is a full-time position based in our Victoria office but requires travelling to different properties in Victoria, Duncan and Nanaimo. Remuneration for car travel is provided.

Compensation and benefits to take into consideration previous professional and relevant experience.

Pay: $62,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
