Who you Are:
We are looking for a polished, professional that takes initiative and is able to anticipate and action resolutions to issues that come up. In this multi-faceted role, you will oversee the logístical operations of our drivers, dispatch and system update. In this position, you will monitor the activity of all our field representatives and resources, handle customer issues and report any major service disruptions. As you monitor our dispatch operations, you will look for areas that are inefficient or unnecessarily costly for the company. Optimize the fleet. You will report these to your manager and recommend solutions.

What You Will Be Doing:

- Dispatch, coordinate and communicate with drivers on ETA’s, plan trips and create schedules to optimize daily productivity.
- Forecast upcoming volumes and communicate with boarder control and customers.
- Predict future problems and implement steps to minimize the impact on our customers and drivers.
- Creative problem solving to ensure the customers’ experience is top-of-mind.
- Act as a liaison between upper management, drivers, and storage teams.
- Communicating with customers regarding status of order and inquiries in a timely professional manner.
- Cultivate and sustain a positive culture, quality performance, safe environment, and a positive, professional driver experience.
- Remain current on industry changes relating to fleet management and recommend areas that need improvement and propose solutions for positive change and growth.
- Fill the communication gap between the drivers and upper management.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications:

- Dispatching experience is required and trucking experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and build personal credibility within the field and home office teams.
- Solution oriented attitude and approach to problem solving.
- Ability to influence, build consensus and drive change in a highly decentralized company.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment accommodating all levels of corporate operations and management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly relate priorities and changing circumstances to the drivers and team.
- Have a collaborative approach, results driven, and thrive working in a team driven work culture.

**Salary**: 55k-65k based on qualifications
