Accounting and Bookkeeping Clerk

**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivable.
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage for financial transactions.
- Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data.
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements regularly to verify account balances.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) is essential.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and account reconciliation.
- Familiarity with budgeting practices and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
