BSP Bicycle Sports Pacific: Store Manager

We are a multi brand bicycle store serving 3 locations across the Mainland. Our North Vancouver branch has a vacancy for a Store Manager.

**Key duties and responsibilities**

Understand and accept the challenge to meet store weekly and monthly sales and service goals

Motivate sales and service team to exceed targets/goals on a weekly, monthly and annual basis

Consistently update knowledge on improving in-store procedures while maintaining company rules and policies

Set weekly and monthly staff schedules, always ensuring back up plan is also in place in the event of staff not being able to attend scheduled day/s

Creating and implementing new ways to increase store sales and service by effective inventory management, merchandising and keeping updated with industry trends

Be familiar with day to day running and operations of the store from opening procedures, daily group huddles, delegating duties to staff, e-commerce sales, processing, picking transfers, customer issue resolutions, service writing procedures and day end cash ups

Excellent at inventory management by investigating inventory discrepancies and implementing problem solving issues to ensure effective inventory control

Recognizing and fostering growth and development with potential talent who would be able to lead the store

Consistently remain updated with new releases and trends in the industry and discussing same at management inventory management lead. Ensuring all staff are well trained on new products ordered

Ensure all team members are correctly clocked in and out prior to hours submitted for bi-weekly payroll processing

Be forthcoming for company team building and socials events

Take pride and accountability for store visual appearance to customers and accurate in store inventory management

Awareness on local community and industry events and suggest which ones would be great to be involved in

Skills/experience and knowledge

5 years retail management experience

Passionate about cycling and involved in community cycling events

Familiar with details of servicing a bike

Strong leadership and team building qualities

Confident and comfortable making business savvy decisions regarding inventory and ideas on increasing sales and service numbers

Proficient with multitasking and time management

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience in data analysis and excel reporting

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proactive and goal orientated individual

Proficiency in Trek U and Ascend modules

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
