**Cassidy Manufacturing**, a newer and modern CNC machine shop established in 2007 and located in Winnipeg Manitoba. We are a service-oriented metal and cast iron manufacturer, serving customers mainly in the agricultural sector.

We are looking to add a full -time, experienced and energetic **Quality Control Technician ** driven with the desire to succeed on our **Evening and Overnight Shift.**
- **The evening shift operates Sunday to Thursday from 3 pm - 11:30 pm while the overnight shift operates Sunday to Thursday from 11 pm - 7:30 am.**_

**Functions of this Role**:

- Ensure calibration of all measuring equipment used on the premises.
- Responsible for shop floor quarantine and assist with disposition of non-conforming parts
- Assist with the CMT 1st off, verifications, last and random inspections and conduct on-going inspections during the production runs and record data on documents provided
- Interpret customer blueprints used in the production of parts in the shop traveler
- Conduct outgoing inspections on completed parts before shipping
- Follow and enforce that ISO procedures are met
- Operate a Zeiss CMM

**Qualifications**:

- Must have Quality experience in a metal manufacturing environment
- Experience with the Hexagon Arm using the Inspire Inspection Software and Zeiss CMM V16 Calypso is an asset
- Zeiss CMM programming - basic level. We will provide additional training if needed
- Good proficiency with written and spoken English (required for reading, interpreting, and giving/following English work instructions/documents) and basic math skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve, provide solutions
- High-school/secondary school education or equivalent is an asset
- Experience with ISO 9001-2015 quality requirements
- Experience in a quality control position
- Proficient with measuring tools (micrometers, vernier calipers, bore mics, etc)
- Ability to stand and do repetitive work for long periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 25-50 pounds
- Strong and reliable regular attendance
- Team player, works well with others, work for team goals.
- Access to reliable transportation to our shop (we are not located on a local transit route).

**Salary**: $15.30-$23.25 per hour
