Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role involves inspecting, treating, and preventing pest issues across residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. Prior experience with sales, hand tools, farm machinery, or power tools is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to develop specialized skills in pest management while contributing to maintaining safe and pest-free environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest problems and entry points
  • Apply appropriate treatment methods using industry-standard equipment and chemicals
  • Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and treatment plans
  • Maintain detailed records of service visits, treatments, and client interactions
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and effectively during treatments
  • Use sales skills to recommend additional services or products when appropriate
  • Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations during pest control procedures
  • Assist in the setup and cleanup of equipment before and after treatments

Requirements

  • Prior experience with sales, hand tools, farm machinery, or power tools is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and reporting
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various outdoor conditions
  • Willingness to obtain necessary pest control licenses or certifications as required by state regulations
