**THE POSITION**:
New-Line is currently seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, multi-skilled Purchaser to join our Edmonton location. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasers share the responsibility for the overall supply chain of the business. This role contributes to the company’s overall promise of exemplary customer service; this includes the sourcing, quality control, and purchasing of domestic and globally-sourced products, maintenance of the inventory database, forecasting, pricing, and the maintenance of companywide stock levels. - You have **a base knowledge of our products and industry**; previous experience in a similar industry is considered a strong asset. Previous industrial operations or purchasing experience is required.
- You have **excellent customer service and relationship building skills**; you enjoy dealing with internal customers and take a team approach to problem solving. You take vendor relationships seriously and take pride in making the right decisions in regards to both maintaining and leveraging vendor relations.
- You have **excellent time management skills;** sourcing, negotiating, tracking, placing PO’s, analyzing inventory trends, planning seasonal purchases, helping to identify new products and service opportunities.
- You pride yourself on your **sense of “ownership”** when it comes to decision making and value the trust that you are provided in your role. Following procedures is important to you.
- You **thrive in a fast paced, collaborative working environment** and have exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
- You have **advanced level Excel Skills;** enjoy database management and are very well versed in V-Look-ups. Advanced level Excel is a requirement of this role.
- You are **mechanically inclined**, want to be involved in the whole supply chain process and enjoy sharing ideas with other departments/teams
- You have **Post-Secondary education i**n Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Accounting or a combination of education and experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
