We operate two (2) adjoining properties - Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel and Best Western Parkway Hotel, conveniently located at Highway 7 and Leslie Street in Richmond Hill. Accessible via YRT /VIVA transit, and Highways 7, 404 and 407. We offer complimentary staff parking, discounted health club membership, and food & beverage outlets.

We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full time SALES COORDINATOR to join our team.

The duties of a Sales Coordinator at this dual-branded property (Sheraton & Best Western) include, but are not limited to the following;
- Utilization of Lightspeed, Opera and Marriott's CI/TY program for group/meetings management (experience with CI/TY an asset)
- Assist Director of Sales & Marketing with daily tasks and projects as needed
- Provide support for the Sales Team by creating and amending sales proposals, contracts, handling guest inquiries, processing guestroom commissions, etc.
- Clearly communicate information to the appropriate departments in the hotel
- General administrative work to support the sales team
- Assist with reservations as required including management of group blocks
- Administration of social bookings including weddings, reunions and birthdays
- Assist Marketing & Communications Manager with projects as required
- Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing, and/or General Manager

Physical Demands include sitting and use of a computer throughout the day for extended periods of time. Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years local hotel experience, preferably with Front Desk/Reservations experience
- Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office '
- Proficiency in Opera, Lightspeed and Marriott’s CI/TY program an asset.
- Must have the ability to speak English clearly, distinctly, and cordially with guests and employees
- Must have strong English written communication skills
- Must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Must be currently legally authorized to work in Canada on a full time basis (40 hours per week)
