**OVERVIEW**:
This is a work from home position that may require occasional on-site work at our Edmonton office.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with your team and our stakeholders via virtual technologies.
- Work in partnership with your L&OD leadership and the leadership of the LDS portfolio to identify training requirements based on department and company goals and target dates.
- Provide engaging virtual facilitation experiences to meet diverse learning needs.
- Evaluate the impact of training programs to ensure objectives are met.
- Demonstrate proficiency in written and verbal communication both in and outside of the virtual classroom to communicate ideas and collaborate with stakeholders and various levels of leadership.

**WHAT YOU WILL HAVE**:

- Relevant postsecondary degree (e.g., education, adult education, instructional design, or health-related field such as nursing, kinesiology, rehabilitation medicine or social work).
- Education and/or experience related to disability claims management, including both short term disability and long-term disability claims.
- Preference will be given to those with an adult learning certificate from an accredited institution or other relevant post-secondary training and work experience.
- Knowledge of instructional design models and adult learning principles.
- Ability to work well independently within a virtual team.
- Strong research and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
