QA Analyst

Doxim builds and delivers a suite of Customer Communication Management solutions including customer relationship management, loan origination, automated client onboarding software, cloud-based enterprise content management, and advanced document processing solutions for Financial Service Providers and their outsourcing partners. Job Definition

Doxim is looking for an experienced and self-motivated, seasoned QA Analyst with strong QA experience in project life cycle processes, who is excited by the opportunity to work with customer relationship management, loan origination, and automated client onboarding software for wealth management firms and Credit Unions. In this role, you will be required to work closely with both Business Analysts and Development teams for test case creation and execution. You will also be involved in requirement reviews and test case automation.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design a test coverage plan. Execute business cycle test cases against requirements
- Review functional and design specifications to ensure a full understanding of individual deliverables.
- Clear communicator (written and verbal) - to ensure the ability to write test plans and test cases. To communicate bugs to developers and other stakeholders
- Creative solving of technical problems - to ensure the ability translate technical requirements test plans
- Ability to think abstractly - outside the box of potential issues that could potentially happen
- Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
- Use your knowledge and experience to anticipate areas of particular risk in the system, and prioritize testing to find important defects early
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to communicate planned testing, testing progress, and status of the project
- Help Build and Deploy each Build at the end of the project cycle
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in a software testing/quality assurance role
- Excellent knowledge of quality theory, concepts, tools, and methodologies of quality assurance
- Demonstrate knowledge of Software test/release process. Thorough understanding of testing methodologies, including test automation Experience with defect management software and procedures
- Knowledge of software development life cycles
- Experience with automated testing and tools
- Genuine interest to come up with innovative ways to test/break the software and find issues that otherwise customers may find later
- Financial sector experience preferred

Working Conditions:

- Travel, up to 5% (within Canada)
- Occasional overtime/weekend work required
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment
