**Victoria Pub Company is looking for a Front of House Manager to join our ever expanding team at the Irish Times Pub**

**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Min of 3 year experience in a high volume management role in the Hospitality Industry
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills
- Excellent staff management, motivation and leadership skills
- High level of timeliness and adhering to quality standards
- WSET Level 2 (or equivalent wine training) an asset
- FoodSafe Level 1
- First Aid Level 1 (an asset)
- Serving it Right
- Strong working knowledge of POS systems and Maitre’D or Focus in general as well as cash out procedures
- Experience with ordering and inventory
- Experience with scheduling, menu planning and forecasting
- Ability to respond positively to pressure situations
- Firm understanding of Employment Standards
- Critical thinker and ability to make important decisions on the fly
- Experience with Tock or equivalent reservation systems

**JOB FUNCTIONS**:

- Interacting with customers and ensuring that a high standard of customer service is maintained
- Overseeing compliance with health and safety regulations (FOH and BOH) at all times
- Running promotional campaigns to market in-house products and events
- Collecting and acting on customer feedback to improve the overall experience for our guests
- Undertaking regular stock checks, placing orders with suppliers and restocking
- Ensuring regular maintenance of the premises, including cleaning and minor repairs
- Recruiting, training and managing staff, including leading meetings to update and motivate staff
- Monitoring profitability and performance to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded
- Meeting with the management team to assess pub performance and set sales targets
- Ensuring that the pub adheres to various legal frameworks (liquor acts, safety, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
