About the Opportunity

Omland Heal LLP has an exciting opportunity for a permanent, full-time Bookkeeper, based in Penticton, BC.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Duties of this position is to perform FULL cycle bookkeeping including data entry, reconciliations, payroll, government remittances, government filings and client interaction.
- Manage and maintain financial records and transactions.
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and submit financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Conduct regular review to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.

More About You

To qualify for this role:

- Certificate or diploma in bookkeeping or accounting; or
- High level of skill with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

The following knowledge and skills will be considered to be strong assets:

- Work Experience: Worked in a public accounting or bookkeeping firm.
- Software: QuickBooks desktop and online, Sage, TaxCycle or other tax software.
- Technical knowledge: Proficiency in accounting principles, taxation, financial reporting and payroll.
- Analytical skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify patterns, and propose solutions
- Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication for effective collaboration.
- Attention to detail: Meticulousness in work to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both internally and with clients.
- Enthusiastic and motivated, and able to manage numerous projects with a positive attitude.

About the Benefits

In exchange for your hard work and dedication, you will receive a highly competitive wage of $25 - $28/hour based on your experience, along with a great host of benefits, including:
