Parts for Trucks is a leading distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in Eastern Canada, operating 17 sales/warehouse outlets and 5 service centres. We supply parts, truck-mounted equipment, and repair service to customers across all areas of the trucking industry.

Join a respected team and industry leader and **_FIND YOUR DRIVE_** as an **Inside Equipment Sales Representative, Truck Mounted Equipment** at our Dartmouth location.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Represent our line of quality, brand-name truck-mounted equipment to current and prospective customers in the transportation and vocational truck industry.
- Provide customer service and respond to telephone and walk-in sales inquiries.
- Make product recommendations to meet customer needs. Prepare quotations and correspondence, and follow-up until completion of sale and installation.
- Work closely with the Outside Sales Representative to provide internal support for sales orders, facilitate parts ordering and availability, monitor, and give updates.
- Develop product and industry knowledge through training and self-initiated research.

**Qualifications**:

- A combination of training and hands-on technical experience, along with 2-3 years of experience in a comparable sales function.
- Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills, and a professional sales presence.
- Experience in the heavy-duty truck industry, and an understanding of pumps and hydraulics.
- Good business writing and record-keeping skills, and an aptitude for math.
- Intermediate PC skills, including Microsoft Excel, and experience with business software (e.g., SX.enterprise).
