You will play a vital role in continually identifying areas of improvement, developing effective tools, processes and best practices. You will be actively engaged in change management activities together with the Commercial leadership team and will be closely involved in implementing solutions throughout Westland’s commercial insurance operations.

As a Commercial Operations Specialist, you’ll redefine the way commercial clients buy insurance by delivering innovative solutions to help achieve Westland’s growth strategy. In this exciting role you will work closely with Westland’s Commercial management to achieve operational excellence throughout the organization.

**Why we’ll love You**:

- Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience in a closely related role or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates competency in skills and abilities
- Ability to create and deliver outstanding communications, spreadsheets & presentations
- Proven working experience in a role required to balance multiple projects at any given point in time
- Understanding of policy, planning, and strategy
- Attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- BONUS Insurance knowledge is an asset

**Once here, you'll**:

- Work in close collaboration with Commercial leadership and other functional leads within Westland to manage and keep things moving forward with respect to rollouts and launches. This will involve analyzing needs, summarizing information, and the collection and presentation of communications to the Commercial team
- Research and compile information on processes from internal & external stakeholders and industry peers. You will summarize relevant findings and present to stakeholders in the interest of developing and implementing new guidelines and processes
- Develop and implement process modernization and improvements of insurance operational processes and compliance. Manage regular communication on processes and changes to internal stakeholders
- Identify levels of service and key performance metrics to support business functions and objectives
- Administration of Westland’s insurance carrier contracts. This includes creating and maintaining a contracts repository as well as regular communication to carriers on necessary amendments. Reviewing and analyzing key changes to contracts
- Gather production numbers & product information and analyze & share with stakeholders.
- Act as point of contact for the Commercial Department, filtering and triaging communication out to relevant parties within Commercial Insurance teams
