Role Overview

The Commercial Mortgage Specialist will manage commercial mortgage files from start to finish, advise clients on lending options, structure deals, and maintain strong relationships with lenders. This role requires deep industry knowledge, strong communication abilities, and exceptional deal-structuring skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on commercial and business lending options
  • Structure and negotiate commercial mortgage deals
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, rent rolls, and property documentation
  • Maintain strong relationships with commercial lenders and partners
  • Manage files through the full underwriting and approval process
  • Provide ongoing support to clients and contribute to team success

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial/business lending, advising, or brokerage
  • Strong understanding of commercial lending guidelines and underwriting
  • Excellent financial analysis and client advisory skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Mortgage broker license (or willingness to obtain one if needed)

This position is ideal for candidates who are highly analytical, experienced in commercial financing, and passionate about helping businesses access the right lending solutions. It is a full-time opportunity with benefits and a competitive salary range

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Compensation: Commission-based only ($100,000 – $400,000+ per year, based on performance)

Location: Remote, Hybrid, or In-Office (Surrey, BC)
