Grand River Early Learning Academy is a brand new centre in Caledonia. We offer care from infancy through 6 years. We strive to create a nurturing environment that meets every child’s current stage of development and challenges them to meet new milestones. We take a multi-curricular approach and tailor our environment to foster growth and learning in all children. We believe that all children benefit from the opportunity to take risks, explore, be independent, and learn from each other, their environment, and adults. We have taken this belief and designed a program that fosters a sense of collaboration between children and the adults they interact with everyday. We use observations and the environment as a 3rd teacher to offer provocations for exploration and development.

As one of the preschool educators at Grand River ELA you will have the opportunity to create this program with us from the ground up. It is our belief that the quality of the program depends on staff being knowledgeable of current best practices in the early childhood profession. You will have the opportunity to build on our philosophy and create an enriched environment with programming based on your observations. Use your skills, knowledge and creativity to create a truly unique program.

We are actively seeking Registered Early Childhood Educators who are passionate about early learning in a preschool environment. We are committed to creating an inviting, diverse and collaborative workplace where everyone feels valued.

Paid programming time during work hours.

Birthday Off with pay

**Qualifications**:
Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) - must be a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators
- Physically able to pick up a minimum 40 lbs.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check (done in the last 6 months).
- Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements (Covid vaccination NOT required)
