Camp Leader (Volunteer position)

Job Overview:
Join our team as a Camp Leader and make a difference in the lives of children through engaging and educational activities. As a Camp Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the camp, ensuring the safety and well-being of all campers, and creating a fun and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow.

Please note that this a volunteer (unpaid) role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead daily planned camp activities for children
- Supervise and ensure the safety of all campers at all times
- Educate and mentor campers through tutoring sessions and interactive learning experiences
- Implement age-appropriate programs that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Collaborate with other camp staff to create a positive and supportive camp culture
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding camper progress and any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized camp environment

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with children in a camp setting is an asset
- Knowledge or background in early childhood education is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

Expected hours: 8 - 30 per week
