- McKinnon Park Child Care Centre, a program of H-N REACH, provides quality childcare and early learning for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. We have been proudly serving the community for over 30 years and are an active participant in the Haldimand Norfolk Quality Initiative._
- **Salary Range**:_ _$17.20 (+$8.54) - $17.20 (+$9.33) - $18.74 (+$9.66)_
- (Rates in bracket include the Wage Subsidy, Wage Enhancement, and Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care grants that are applied to the base hourly rates as per funder guidelines, for eligible individuals). _

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide an early learning and developmentally rich environment for children in a group setting, in accordance with the Child Care & Early Years Act (CCEYA) and the policies & procedures at H-N REACH
- Nurture authentic caring relationships, connections, and support the family unit
- Enrich children's healthy development and support their growing sense of self
- Provide environments and experiences that engage children and families in the program
- Foster the foundations of How Does Learning Happen? Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years
- Participate in regular staff meetings, individual supervision, training, and professional learning.

**Qualifications**:

- Early Childhood Education Diploma
- Registered member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- A minimum of one year experience working in a Child Care Centre preferred
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Certification in First Aid & CPR-C
- Verification of the required immunizations/immunity, as recommended by the local Medical Officer of Health
- Vulnerable Sector Record Check (includes Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Check) and Children’s Aid Society Declaration Release.
