Summer Camp Supervisor

**Overview**
Little Ladybugs Camp is a summer day camp in Caledonia. We are committed to providing children with a fun, safe, and enriching experience. Our camp is focused on fostering creativity, teamwork, and personal growth in a screen-free environment. We are seeking an enthusiastic and responsible Camp Supervisor to lead our camp operations and create unforgettable experiences for campers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the camp.
- Plan, organize, and implement daily activities and special events.
- Supervise and provide guidance to camp staff, including volunteers.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers and staff by enforcing camp policies and safety procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for parents, addressing concerns and providing updates as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and daily activities.
- Support staff with behaviour management and conflict resolution strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a camp, recreational, or educational setting.
- A background in early childhood education or tutoring is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for campers and staff.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR-C (or willingness to obtain prior to the start of employment).
- Vulnerable Sector check from your local police department.
- A passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering their growth and development.
- Must be able to commit to the full duration of the camp program.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $18.00-$20.25 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 48 per week
