Skyllen Pacific Real Estate Ltd. is a multi-disciplinary real estate development firm based in Vancouver. As a growing company, we are now looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, take-charge Vice President with strong operational and customer service management experience to support the President in matters relating to daily operations and general management including administration and human resources management, etc. The Vice President must possess the intellect, drive, people skills and business acumen to succeed in a fast paced, high performance, and results-driven environment. This position reports to the President.
**Duties include but are not limited to**:
- Responsible for analyzing and making recommendations to improve all work processes including daily operations, general management and administration
- Provide direction and leadership to ensure effective and safe operations, complete customer satisfaction, and long-term sustainable growth
- Develop operating procedures, analyze various requirements and allocate funds to ensure efficiency and timely project management
- Consistently implement process improvement initiatives; ensure an entrepreneurial approach is taken throughout this process
- Increasing management’s effectiveness by selecting key management staffs, and responsible for hiring, training, and supporting key management positions
- Value and seek contributions from all team members, facilitate regular team meetings
- Maintain excellent relationships and communication with stakeholders
- Foster strong relationships with key clients and partners, and negotiate agreements on behalf of the company
- Assure that on a daily basis all values, standards and customer commitments (i.e. quality, employee relations, on-time delivery, reporting etc.) are followed within the company
- Participate in operational expansion activities (acquisitions and development)
- Responsible for negotiating contracts, managing vendors and establishing long-term client relationships
- Ensure all customer feedback is promptly dealt with and any complaints are corrected immediately
- Perform other duties as required by top management to promote and maintain brand name and company image
**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years of experience as a senior manager with strong operational, customer service, or relations management is required
- Understanding the real estate market in BC is an asset
- Strong business acumen with communication proficiency, problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking
- Strong detail orientation, work ethic, and a passion for accomplishing challenging goals
- Good communication skills
- Strong people/client management skills; strong teamwork and team leadership skills; cooperative working style
- Possess outstanding analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Exhibit commitment and perseverance, with a proven ability to stay focused amidst multiple demands on time and attention
- Demonstrate a high sense of urgency with the ability to work independently and prioritize on an ongoing basis with a high volume of ever-changing deals
- Willingness to work some evenings and weekends is required
