The **Maintenance Supervisor** will work with the Maintenance Manager to assist in the execution of the overall preventative and predictive maintenance strategies ensuring production demands are consistently met while complying with applicable legislation. This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, maintaining, rebuilding, replacing and/or repairing processing machineries components. Assisting department in advancement and line improvement projects.

**Responsibilities**:
**Maintenance Duties**
- Aid in mechanical and engineer troubleshooting
- Ensure mínimal down-time of equipment
- Effectively troubleshoot and resolves facility problems
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Boiler and Refrigeration Systems within the facility
- Regularly inspect the facility to identify potential risks
- Execute and coordinate the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance programs for equipment
- Regularly inspect all electrical equipment to ensure the safe operation and report any concerns to the Plant Manager
- Assist the Maintenance Manager as required to manage projects for Company expansion or changes
- Commit to continuous improvement in the manufacturing operations and processes, while maintaining our customer expectations, minimizing waste and plant mechanical downtime

**Leadership**
- Assist in directing the efforts of the Maintenance team
- Lead by example in actively pursuing company goals
- Establish and maintain effective communication with Plant Manager, QA and Production team
- Promote and foster positive employee relations
- Provide guidance and regular coaching to foster growth and development on the maintenance team
- Practice respect and tactfulness
- Additional duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- Must be able to perform physical maintenance work, including the ability to lift at least 50-70 pounds
- Previous supervisory experience
- Must practice personal and environmental safety on the job using required PPE
- Working in a manufacturing environment
- Food industry experience is an asset
- Weekend availability for equipment expansion and/or plant shut downs
- Self-responsible with the ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
- Team Player - must interact professionally and work well with the team and internal customers
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
