**Position Summary**

We are seeking a part-time (25 hours/week), highly organized Human Resources Coordinator for a 1-year maternity leave coverage. This role supports a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and record-keeping. It’s an excellent opportunity for a personable and proactive individual to make a meaningful contribution to a collaborative and mission-driven healthcare team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the full recruitment cycle: draft job postings, post to appropriate platforms, screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and conduct reference checks
- Prepare offer letters, HR documentation, and compensation proposals for new hires and annual reviews
- Coordinate onboarding: ensure completion of paperwork, orientation, and internal communication
- Maintain annual performance review files and calendars
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Assist in resolving employee relations concerns, escalating complex matters to management
- Administer benefit programs: enrollments, changes, terminations, and liaise with providers
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations in Ontario

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience (healthcare or small business environment preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Ontario employment standards and HR best practices
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with HR/payroll systems (ADP preferred)
