**Position Summary**:
The Coordinator receives day-to-day guidance and reports to the Labour Relations Consultant, ensuring alignment with both operational and strategic priorities

**Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Abilities**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or a related field.
- Human Resources Professional designation (CHRP) or working towards, preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in Labour relations
- 1-2 years experience in Human Resources, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with all levels of the organization including, but not limited to Directors, colleagues and Union Representatives
- Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning sensitive issues in a professional manner
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience interpreting collective agreements, conducting case law research and providing case law informed advice on labour relations issues
- Demonstrated strong working knowledge of relevant employment legislation including, but not limited to, the Employment Standards Act, the Human Rights Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Advanced computer software proficiency including Microsoft Office, Outlook and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner as well as collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service when interacting with patients, families, colleagues and physicians
