**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with clients to determine event objectives, themes, and budgets.
- Plan and execute events and catering needs including weddings, corporate meetings, social gatherings and airline catering from conception to completion.
- Manage event logistics including venue selection, transportation, and guest accommodations.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Monitor and handle inquiry calls and provide client proposals in accordance with established polices and procedures
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout the planning process.
- Check function room set ups prior to guest arrival, ensuring all details are in agreement with client's requirements and hotels standards. Ensure deficiencies are corrected by appropriate personnel.
- Welcome group contact upon arrival at function and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain client files and contracts.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback for future improvements.
- Maintain organized records of contracts, invoices, and event details.

**Education and Experience**
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination within the hospitality industry.
- Strong background in customer service with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in negotiation techniques to secure favorable terms with vendors.
- Some college plus 1-2 years sales or catering related experience in the hospitality industry
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with clients and team members.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
