Caboo is looking for an organized & creative marketer to join our Digital Marketing team. The social media / marketing assistant will report to the Digital Marketing Director and will manage social media channels, influencer programs and customer service; along with other marketing duties and administrative tasks within the marketing department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Execute against our social media strategy and evolve the strategy over time to align with our business objectives.
- Working with the marketing team, create and publish engaging content across all social media platforms & ensure content is in alignment with the social media strategy and campaigns.
- Manage influencers and affiliates including outreach, communication, brief creation, gifting plan, contracts and reporting. Coordinate UGC for social channels.
- Stay up to date with social media trends and changes in algorithms to ensure content remains relevant and effective.
- Monitor and analyze marketing marketing metrics, provide KPI performance & strategic recommendations for growth and improvement.
- Manage and respond to inbound customer communications in a timely manner. Elevate any issues or concerns from a customer service perspective. Research and make recommendations to evolve customer service program.
- Performing administrative tasks to ensure the functionality of marketing activities.
- Undertake a variety of digital marketing projects and duties as assigned. This is an evolving role and adaptability will be the key to success.
- Be open and available to attend marketing events if required.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary degree or diploma in digital marketing or a related field
- 1-2 years experience in social media management and a solid understanding of social marketing
- Proven experience delivering a variety of digital assets, including effective social media content & video creation for social media and digital marketing
- Up to date on latest social media marketing trends and best practices for social media platforms
- Experience working with influencers and influencer management platforms an asset
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Basic experience creating and video editing
- Graphic design experience an asset
- Customer service experience an asset
- Strong multitasking and time management skills in order to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for excellence
