**ReStore Floor Associate**:
**Position Overview**: The ReStore Floor Associate is an integral part of the Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewan ReStore team, providing excellent customer service, supporting inventory and merchandising efforts, and contributing to a positive and efficient work environment. **Key Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service Excellence**:

- **Engagement**: Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner, addressing inquiries and concerns to ensure a positive shopping experience.

**Inventory Management & Merchandising**:

- **Stock Handling**: Assist with receiving, sorting, and stocking donations, ensuring items are priced and displayed appropriately.
- **Visual Merchandising**: Support the organization and presentation of merchandise to create appealing and accessible displays for customers.

**Operational Support**:

- **Daily Tasks**: Operate the cash register, handle transactions, and assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.
- **Safety Compliance**: Follow safety guidelines and assist in maintaining a secure environment for staff, volunteers, and customers.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the ReStore Team Lead to support store operations and resolve issues as they arise.

**Volunteer & Team Engagement**:

- **Volunteer Support**: Assist in directing volunteers during shifts, ensuring they understand tasks and adhere to ReStore policies.
- **Teamwork**: Contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment, fostering positive relationships with staff and volunteers.

**Education & Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent desired.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or volunteer roles preferred but not required.
- Experience in operating cash registers and retail transaction platforms.
- Familiarity with inventory tracking and categorization systems.
- Knowledge of safety tools and procedures, including lifting equipment and compliance signage.

**Work Conditions**:

- Full-time position with regular shifts, including weekends and some evenings.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying donations, and moving merchandise.
- May require occasional travel for donation pickups or special events.
