**The Community**:
Prince Albert is located over the geographic centre of Saskatchewan. It is the largest centre in the region with a population of 45,000. There are many lakes and outdoor camping sites, and the natural setting of Prince Albert National Park. The Victoria Hospital is a regional hospital with 99 acute care beds, which includes an 8 bed intensive care unit that provides services to a population of 80,000 including northern and northeastern Saskatchewan. The Victoria Hospital does about 1500 deliveries a year and has 6 Full time Obstetrics and Gynecology positions and there are also Family Physicians who do low risk antenatal care and deliveries. We have a level 2 NICU (34 weeks and over), anesthesia coverage and one full time Urologist. Gynecology services include colposcopy and mínimal invasive surgery and you get 2 OR days a month for elective gynecology surgery. We actively engaged in teaching and we have medical students, family medicine residents, enhanced surgical skills residents and OBSGYN residents (year 1 and year 4) rotate with us.

**Qualifications**:
This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care.

In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.

The successful applicant is expected to participate in the undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education programs of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the North East Area.

**Salary**: $503,022.72 per year
