The **Production Scheduler** position is the detailed managing of daily activities of all resource in Production, also producing metrics and analyses of efficacy. You will take the over-arching responsibility of the Production Forecast & Schedule, carefully detailing every resource for daily activities. Also, you are to produce data and feedback of accuracy and efficiency.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Creates daily, weekly, and monthly actionable production schedule based on customer request and expected delivery dates
- Makes key decisions to balance production schedule with inventory availability and delivery dates
- Develops production schedule in accordance with sales, forecast, plant employee capacity, and new business opportunity.
- Updates schedule as demands change and ensures that production is prioritized to meet external and internal customer demands
- Communicates delivery dates, production lead time and potential production issues to project & pre-production manager
- Notifies Department Head of potential resource bottlenecks in achieving 100% schedule attainment.
- Constantly seek to improve manufacturing processes and enhance efficiency
- Monitor workflow and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
- Generate/develop production reports to Managers for critical decision-making purposes.
- Work closely with plant supervisors to ensure production and schedule needs are met

**YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- 1-2 years of experience as a Production Scheduler or a similar role
- Strong communication skills, ability to address things quickly and efficiently with a sense of urgency and escalation
- Demonstrates high problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
- Focus and solution minded person
- Team player, Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively work with many levels and types of people
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure, matrixed environment
- Nice to have’s:

- Good knowledge of manufacturing environment, ability to interpret blueprint drawings and BOM is an asset
- Experience with ERP System

**EDUCATION**:
Certificate or Diploma in Supply chain management or Business-related field is preferred
