**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Draft, prepare, and review family law documents, including:

- Applications, Answers, Financial Statements, Motions, Case Conference Briefs, Settlement Conference Briefs, and Separation Agreements.
- Manage client files from intake to resolution, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court rules.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third parties in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, mediations, case conferences, and court appearances.
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries for lawyer review.
- Assist with disclosure requests and the organization of financial documents.
- Monitor and maintain deadlines, limitation periods, and hearing dates.
- Prepare and maintain billing records, accounts, and file documentation.
- Provide general administrative support to the lawyer, including correspondence, filing, and data entry.

**Qualifications**
- Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent education in legal studies.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Family Law Clerk in Ontario.
- Strong knowledge of the **Family Law Rules**, court processes, and related legislation (Family Law Act, Divorce Act, Children’s Law Reform Act).
- Proficiency with legal software ( PC Law/Clio, MS Office Suite).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professionalism, discretion, and client-service orientation.
